The objective of this work is to describe procedure of hydrographical works by the example of Raahe port. The main purpose of the project was to expand existing harbour and channel to provide safe traffic for larger vessels. This seminar describes the methods and procedures of hydrographic surveys, describes main duties of trainee on the project and also gives an overview of the vessels used for dredging.
